Sri Saraswati Library
Before year 2000, devotees visiting Mantralaya did not have access to a public library or reading room to read newspapers and magazines to follow happenings in the external world. Sri Saraswathi Library was set up by Sri Sushameendra Teertha to address this need. The library is located in the northern part of the Matha’s courtyard. It houses over 5000 valuable books and  tomes. Dailies, weeklies and monthly magazines in several languages are available. The library subscribes to many religious journals and publications in other languages for the benefit of its readers.

Drinking Water
The Tungabhadra river is the main source of water for Mantralaya. Arrangements have been made to tap water upstream and pump it to the water purification plant set up outside Mantralaya. This water is used to meet the needs of the maTha, the guest houses of visitors and the houses of the maTha staff . For the benefit of visitors, several water taps have been set up opposite the Matha

Bathrooms and toilets
Usually, devotees visiting Mantralaya are eager to take bath in the river. However, there could be people who, due to unavoidable reasons, are unable to take bath in the river and have taken up alternative accomodations. To cater to the needs of such people, well equipped bathrooms and toilets have been set up in those locations. For the sake of devotees who have not taken any rooms, the Matha has setup good quality toilets near the Welcome centre. In addition, Sulabh International organization has set up good quality toilets near the river.
